Accredited Gambling Harms Practice
There are many ways that you can be supported to help stop gambling. These services are free and confidential. They can be face to face or remote and usually consists of talking therapy. There are also options for members of your family who may benefit from having space to talk.

Age UK Lambeth is partnering with the Primary Care Gambling Service
Age UK Lambeth is partnering with the Primary Care Gambling Service to raise awareness and provide support with gambling related harms.
Their Better Together Service helps the community gain access to gambling support and 1-2-1 support sessions to address wider issues affected by gambling. The type of support they offer could include:
- Connect you to a service for managing debt and other services
- Help you navigate the welfare system.
- Link you up with housing support services.
- Introduce you to new activities/local clubs.
Speak to our Social Prescriber for a referral.
The Primary Care Gambling Service
This service provides a direct route to care from a team of GPs, mental health nurses, peer support workers, therapists and a consultant psychiatrist.
National Gambling Helpline - Out of hours
This resource is available on the phone or by online chat.

- GamLearn – the Gambling Lived Experience and Recovery Network service
- Gamblers Anonymous – a local support group service that uses the 12-step approach to recovery
- Citizens Advice Bureau – a charity that can advise you on a range of issues, including finances, debt and homelessness
