Lambeth PPG Network

21/11/2018

Lambeth Patient Participation Group Network

A Patient Participation Group (PPG) is a group of patients from a GP practice, working in partnership with the practice to improve services. The PPG brings the patients’ perspective to discussions and decisions and acts as a bridge between patients and the practice to ensure that patient voices are heard about issues that matter most to them.

The next PPG Lambeth-wide meeting is on Wednesday, 21st November 2018, 6pm – 8pm at 336 Brixton Road, SW9 7AA.

Come and find out about…
Proposed changes to the provision of integrated care in Lambeth and what it could mean to you!

Defining a Fully Functioning PPG…

At Beckett House we are keen to have a sucessful Patient Participation Group, but we need more patients to get involved to help run it. The PPG Network meeting will be an oportunity for you to share your thoughts and ideas with other patients about the definition of a 'fully functioning' PPG.

There is still time to register to attend, if you haven’t done so already.  You can email info@lppgn.org.uk, call 020 7326 1586 or text to 07427 873090.

Health & Wellbeing in Stockwell – follow-up session 30th April 2019

Our practice teamed up with other local GPs, the Stockwell Forum and the Lambeth Patient Participation Group (PPG) Network for an event in February 2019: Stockwell Health & Wellbeing Forum.

It was a great event that brought together almost 50 people from many different backgrounds and experiences, all with a shared interest in working together to support health and wellbeing in Stockwell - http://www.stockwell.org.uk/2019/02/28/stockwell-forum-engaging-local-people-in-creating-a-healthy-community/

The important thing now is how we build on the momentum and bring together some of the opportunities that were formulating on the night.

If you and/or a colleague are interested in following up with us after the event and becoming part of a smaller group of committed individuals who wish to explore specific opportunities to work together to support the health and wellbeing of our Community in Stockwell, please join us on Tuesday 30 April between 3-5pm at Art4Space, 31 Jeffreys Rd, London SW4 6QU. If you cannot make this specific date but are still interested in being involved, please let Will (wanicholson@gmail.com ) or Steve (steve@stockwell.org.uk ) know.
