HRT
Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) can help with menopause symptoms. Our GP practice follows NHS guidelines for safe prescribing. If you would like to discuss starting HRT submit an online request. If you cannot fill the form yourself please phone us on 020 7738 7030 and our reception team can help you complete an appointment request.
Starting HRT: A GP or specialist will assess if HRT is suitable for you.
- Prescriptions: Once prescribed, we will provide regular repeat prescriptions.
- Health Check-Ups: Patients must have a review after 3 months and then at least annually. Reviews are to check your health, blood pressure and discuss any side effects.
- Medication Changes: The GP may adjust your dose or type of HRT if needed.
- Repeat Prescriptions: Please request these at least 5 working days in advance.
Always attend your regular HRT reviews for safe and effective treatment.
